Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

 

The trip meets in Madrid at the Hostel One Centro anytime after 16:00. Your Bus2alps guide will be at the hostel to help check you in between 16:00 and 22:00. Luggage storage will be available for those of you arriving before 16:00. For those of you arriving after 22:00, you can check in at the reception desk and pick up your Bus2alps Welcome Package there.Detailed information regarding your trip, including directions to the accommodation, will be emailed to you in the days leading up to your departure. For those of you that wish to reserve a shuttle service from the airport to the hostel, this tour includes an optional transport add-on, available at the time of booking. Day 2 

 

After breakfast on Friday morning, we set out on a private walking tour of the city with Sandeman’s New Madrid Walking Tours. Our 3.5 hour tour will cover the Royal Palace, Teatro Real, Moorish ruins, and other highlights.

Friday night we take you out on the town to experience the city’s lively nightlife with the Sandeman’s New Europe Pub Crawl. We’ll start the night off with a 45 minute power hour, including unlimited beer and sangria before checking out some of the city’s coolest bars and clubs. The pub crawl also includes free shots in 3 of the bars, drink specials all night, and VIP club entry.

 

Day 3

 

Saturday morning you are free to explore the city.

 

Saturday evening there will be an included Tapas Experience. You’ll learn all about the history and origin of Spanish tapas and cuisine, while enjoying a free sangria or beer and a sampling of tapas in three of the best bars in the Madrid. The tour will also guide us around the city’s oldest and most traditional district, La Latina.

 

Day 4

 

Sunday morning the trip ends. Check out from the accommodation is at 10:30. Please contact us for information regarding an additional night’s stay.

New Madrid Walking Tour: This 3.5 hour tour will take you through 1200 years of history while entertaining you with informative storytelling. Discover what makes Madrid so unique as you wind through narrow roads and past many of the cities most significant buildings.
