Join this 9 -days tour to experience both Swedish and Finnish Lapland and have a great Christmas holiday in the spectacular nature far north of the Arctic Circle!

On this tour all the accommodation is included in the price. We sleep one night in our bus, and for seven nights we stay in hostels on a shared-room basis. Some nights we might be able to arrange private rooms to an extra cost. If interested please inform us.

*If you travel to Stockholm from abroad we suggest to arrive a day earlier.

Day 1 Stockholm December 20th
We meet 13:30 infront of Sheraton Hotel Stockholm (Tegelbacken 6, near central station). Get ready for the overnight busride. We watch some movies and get to know the group.

Day 2 Kiruna December 21st
In the morning you wake up in Kiruna a town in Lapland north of the Arctic Circle. We have breakfast at our hostel and after that there is free time all day. This is the day for the ultimate combi-tour, that consists of dog-sledge and snowmobile activities. Kiruna also has some gems and the worlds biggest Iron Mine shouldn't be missed (read more under Optional activities). (B)

Day 3 Kiruna December 22nd
Today we will visit a reindeer farm owned by a Sami family and later we visit the world famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, a small village just outside Kiruna. (B)

Day 4 Kiruna - Inari December 23rd
We leave Kiruna and start off towards Finland! We drive through the the snowy wilderness of Swedish Lapland and enjoy the breath-taking secnary. We make a stop for the night in the country-side, close to the border with Finland. (B)

Day 5 Inari December 24th
We travel further until we reach the holiday center outside the small town Inari in Northern Finland. The surroundings are beautiful, deep forests and a frozen lake next to the hostel. In the evening we'll have a Christmas dinner with traditional Finnish dishes. Keep your eyes open for Northern Lights! (B,D)

Day 6 Inari December 25th
After breakfast its free time for your own activities, like cross-country skiing and ice fishing. Later it’s time for a sauna and an arctic swim - a must do activity when visiting Finland. (B,D)

Day 7 Inari - Rovaniemi December 26th
After breakfast we depart towards Rovaniemi to visit Santa, who lives just north of Arctic Circle. Later we check in to our hostel, and why not go out for some drinks?! (B)

Day 8 Rovaniemi-Helsinki December 27th
We leave Rovaniemi in the morning and travel towards Helsinki - the capital of Finland. We arrive in the evening and check in to our hostel. Last night all together, so let's go out and explore the Helsinki nightlife! (B)

Day 8 Helsinki, December 28-th
We start the day with the guided city walk in Helsinki centre. After that the tour in over. (B)

*Note that there are two our trips: The Russia New Year Tour and The Baltic New Year Tour that start from Helsinki the same day! They can be perfectly combined into one longer trip!

Sleep on Ice
Sleeping on Ice is something many passengers ask about. The following links take you to the Ice Hotel and Camp Ripan. No matter what you choose you need to book early because they are both very busy. Ice hotel is best if you book day 3 because we can drop you off in the afternoon and pick you up the following day on the way to Finland. Camp Ripan only has a few basic Ice Igloos and is located in walking distance from the hostel in Kiruna. You can easily check availability and book rooms in the Ice Hotel online.
