Get off the beaten path and explore one of Eastern Europe's most beautiful cities: Krakow, Poland. Home to Europe's largest market square as well as Europe's highest concentration of bars (over 300 in the town square area), there's no shortage of things to do and see while taking in the original Polish culture. Visit the Krakow Castle for a touch of majesty, then enjoy traditional Polish dishes such as pierogies and stuffed cabbage. Take a day trip to the mesmermizing Salt Mines for a totally unique experience, and soak in the history of Auschwitz for a sombering reflection.

The trip departs Prague from Hlavni Nadrazi. The meeting point is the Bus Departure point. Access this via Platform 1 outside the main entrance and the Fatnova Kavarna. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Croatia is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. We make one 45 minute stop. Upon arrival to Krakow, we will immediately check into our accommodation.
Friday morning we will head out on a walking tour of Krakow. The walking tour will explore the home of Pope John Paul II, Europe’s largest market square, Krakow Castle, and other various sites. The afternoon is free to visit many of Krakow’s up and coming museums, art galleries, or take a day trip out to the incredible Salt Mines. At night there will be an optional group dinner at a local Polish restaurant. Afterwards, you will be free to check out the night scene, or to wander around the beautiful medieval streets.
On Saturday we will have a day trip to the concentration camp of Auschwitz, the most known of World War II. We will spend several hours at the site where you will have the option of a guided tour. Upon return to Krakow, you will have a free evening to head out for a typical Polish meal of pierogies, stuffed cabbage, and other assorted treats. There will then be a Pub Crawl to enjoy many of the over 300 bars.
Sunday morning we depart for Prague. We will make one 45 minute stop for dinner.
