Maintaining a diverse selection of bars, cafes, clubs, museums, and shopping, locals don't take Berlin for granted - neither should you!
Please note: The trip meets in Berlin at the accommodation anytime after 16:00 Thursday afternoon. Transportation to this destination is not included. Please plan your arrival accordingly.

The trip departs Prague from the Praha Hlavní Nádraží train station. This trip meets Thursday night in Prague. The meeting point is the waiting area just inside the station’s main entrance on Wilsonova. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Budapest is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and toilet. We make one 45 minute stop. We play DVDs through the duration of the trip. Upon arrival in Budapest, we will immediately check into our accommodation.
In the afternoon we will depart to see Berlin with the Sandeman’s New Berlin Walking Tour, one of the top walking tours in Europe! The tour lasts for around 3 hours. The tour will take us to Brandenberg Gate, The Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, The Reichstag, Mitte Town, and Museums Island. After, you are free to explore, join a specialized walking or bike tour, or follow your trip leader to the Reichstag or Potsdamer Platz for shopping. Friday night we will organize a night out for those interested in checking out the eclectic Berlin night scene. Berlin’s nightlife is massive and has something for everyone’s tastes.
Saturday we will wake up to the city that first divided Europe and then reunited it. You will have the day free to check out Museums Island, get a view of the city at the TV Tower, shop at the markets, or explore the city. If you’re interested, the guides will be bringing groups to the East Side Gallery from the hostels after breakfast. There will be an optional, organized group dinner this evening.
Check out is at 10:00am. If your flight departs later in the day you will be able to store your luggage in the hostel. Sunday is a free day to visit any of the sites you missed over the weekend. Please consult with your trip leader for additional suggestions for the day.
