Sicily is the true motherland of Italy, marked by a uniquely welcoming culture and the essence of Italian cuisine. The island offers bustling street life, markets and breathtaking beaches. Let yourself be swept away by the beaches’ aqua waters lined by age-old architecture and Mount Etna in the distance, and you just might not want to leave.

The trip departs Rome from the Rome Termini train station on Thursday evening. The meeting point is just in front of the Nike Store. Please meet your guide 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Sicily is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and toilet. We will make one 45 minute stop. Upon arrival in Sicily, we will immediately check into our accommodation.
On Friday, we will check in to the accommodation. You will have some free time to settle in before we start the day. Once everyone is settled in, we will begin the walking tour of Catania. The walking tour will bring you through Castello Ursino, the outdoor fish, meat, and produce market, Catania's Duomo, the Roman Amphitheater, many of the town's beautiful churches, and more. After the walking tour, you will have free time to explore the city of Catania on your own and the guides will give you recommendations of their favorite lunch spots.
We will be meeting back at the accommodation in the early afternoon to depart to Taormina. We will discover the city of Taormina and Isola Bella. Our guides will show you around the city and also give dinner recommendations of amazing Sicilian food! We will have an early night out here and return back to Catania in the late evening.
On Saturday, we will depart Catania again to go South, stopping at two beach towns for the day. The first stop of the day will be to the city of Noto. Here you will have the whole morning to relax on the beach. In the afternoon, we will depart for Siracusa. Explore the gorgeous town, bathe in the crystal clear water, and try some of the most delicious seafood you will ever have in this incredible town! We will depart back to Catania in the early evening. At night, your guide will take you in to town and show you the nightlife scene of Catania.
Sunday we will depart back to Rome, making a stop to Mount Etna, one of the largest active volcanoes in Italy, along the way. Here you’ll be able to take some pictures of the amazing landscape that Sicily has to offer.
We will get back to Termini Station in Rome on Sunday night.
