Lace up your shoes and explore Italy's Breathtaking Cinque Terre Coast. The Cinque Terre or "The Five Lands" are famous for their natural beauty, steep cliffs and mountainous terrain extending inland. As such, the villages and carefully terraced land have kept their original charm. This day trip can be as active or leisurely as you want. With challenging hiking trails, fresh local seafood, easy nature walks with breathtaking scenery, beach chairs and glittering sea, The Cinque Terre has it all.
Some trips may require minimum numbers. All trips will receive pre-departure information via email the evening prior to departure.

The trip departs Rome from the Roma Termini train station. The meeting point is in front of the Nike store at the front of the train station. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Cinque Terre is by train with A/C and bathroom.
The trip arrives to Cinque Terre at the La Spezia train station. From here you have access to the entire Cinque Terre National Park. In the National Park you will have the choice to enjoy the many hiking trails that join these famous ‘5 Lands’ or you may choose to just take it easy and relax on the beach. You have the choice to stay with the group and follow our guides who will take you to the highlights of Cinque Terre, or you can choose to break off from the group and explore on your own.
If you choose to follow the group, we will leave from La Spezia, where we will take the local train that services the park and arrive in the second town of Manarola. Here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the crystal clear water and colorful stacked houses.
From Manarola, we will hop on the train to the fourth town, Vernazza, where you can eat lunch, relax by the port, and begin the optional hike. Your trip leader will lead you on the the spectacular hiking trail between Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare. The hike will take approximately two hours. Make sure that you bring comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water if you chose to participate in the hike. If you choose not to hike it, you may take the train directly to the beach town of Monterosso al Mare.
Must do's in Cinque Terre: Try pesto focaccia, fresh seafood, take an epic picture during the hike, and relax on the beach!
At the end of the day, we will meet back at the La Spezia train station for departure to Rome at the designated time. We will return by train back to Rome and arrive in the evening.
