Please note: Flights are not included in this trip. This tour meets at 9:00 directly at the accommodation detailed by your Tour Leader on Thursday and departs from Rome at anytime the following Sunday.

The trip meets in Rome anytime after Thursday at 16:00. You will be able to check into our accommodation anytime after 16:00 on Thursday. Plan flights accordingly. A Bus2alps trip leader will be available to help get you checked in.

Day 2

We will spend the afternoon on an entertaining walking tour of the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and Colosseum. Entrance to the Colosseum will be an optional cost.

We will start the evening with a ‘Welcome to Italy’ dinner in Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood. Afterwards we will go out both the buzzing nightlife areas of Trastevere and Campo de Fiori.

Day 3

We will start Saturday at the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. We will depart from our accommodation for the tour. Entrance to the Vatican is an optional cost.  Afterwards you will have time to further explore Rome, the capital of history’s most influential empire. Consult your Bus2alps trip leader for suggestions as to where to go and how to see it. Other sights in Rome include The Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese, and Piazza Navona.

That night you may participate in an optional dinner at the base of the Pantheon, with multiple courses and unlimited water and wine. Ask your Bus2alps Trip Leader for the best recommendations for food and nightlife depending on your taste!

Day 4

Check out is on Sunday morning. You will have the whole day until your flight to explore any sites that you have not yet taken in during the weekend!
