Welcome to the city of lights! Shop along the Champs-Élysées, visit the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, and sit back and marvel as the Eiffel Tower glitters at night. To top it off, spend the day admiring the royal palace and expansive gardens of Versailles. In the end of October indulge in the world’s best chocolate at the Salon du Chocolate!

The trip meets in Paris anytime after Thursday at 16:00. You will be able to check into our accommodation anytime after 16:00 on Thursday. Plan flights accordingly. A Bus2alps trip leader will be available to help get you checked in.
After breakfast, we will depart with the Sandeman’s New Paris Walking Tour, which brings us to the Champs-Élysées, Arc du Triumph, Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Bastille, plus much more. The tour is conducted in a humorous manner, but also brings together the story of Paris’s opulence, occupation by the Germans, and life since World War II. The tour last 3 hours. You will have time in the afternoon to check out the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, or hang out at the Eiffel Tower.
The night is yours to check out Paris’s bustling nightlife, watch the Eiffel Tower light up, scope sunset at Sacre Coure or relax at the hostel. For anyone who wants to join, we will have an optional comedy show at 7pm. If you choose to not join the comedy show, you can check out one of Paris’ numerous nightlife districts, grab a bottle of wine and baguette, and watch the Eiffel Tower light up, or relax at the hostel.
You will have the whole day to explore one of Europe’s most encompassing cities. There is a surplus of museums, sights, and shopping. Consult your trip leader to find out further information about Paris’s best cultural spots and shopping deals. Make sure to give yourself time to check out the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, Arc du Triomphe, or hang out at the Eiffel Tower. You can also spend time exploring the Luxembourg Gardens, charming Le Marais district, strolling along the Seine, and of course stopping for plenty of croissants and baguettes!
If you'd like to get out of the city, Saturday is the perfect day for a quick trip to Versailles, one of the world's most beautiful palaces and gardens, or Disneyland Paris. Your trip leader will provide directions to either of these locations.
At night, if you are looking for an exciting experience, the Moulin Rouge has performances and is located a short metro ride from our accommodation.
Check out is on Sunday morning. You will have the whole day until your flight to explore any sites that you have not yet taken in during the weekend!
New Paris Walking Tour: This tour explores centuries of Parisian history, romance, and beheading. New Europe shows you Paris as it was meant to be seen: by walking along the banks of the Seine and through its royal gardens and squares. Visit Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Pont Neuf, The Louvre and Palais Royal all in one tour.
Comedy Show: “How to Become Parisian In One Hour” was voted the #2 theater/show in Paris by Tripadvisor and is a hilarious look into the Parisian way of life.
Versailles: The most famous palace in all of Europe and home to Marie Antoinette before she was beheaded, Versailles is accessed by the local train, a journey that takes 45 minutes from Paris.
