Get creative with your picture in Pisa before heading up to the medieval town of Siena and stroll through its Piazza del Campo. Then, head off to a three course lunch accompanied by a generous wine tasting. Located in the Chianti wine region, the tasting offers a unique and delicious experience. End the day on the hilltop town of San Gimignano while overlooking the beauty of Tuscany. (Did we mention this is the home of the world's best gelato?)

The trip departs Florence from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The meeting point is in the International Ticketing Hall opposite tracks 8 and 9. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to San Gimignano is by private, luxury coach bus with A/C, and DVD.
Siena is a beautiful town up on a hill overlooking the rolling Tuscan hillside. Once the rival city to Florence, Siena is home to incredible medieval and renaissance architecture, and Il Palio, one of the world’s largest and most famous medieval festivals. Your trip leader will give you a short tour of Siena’s city center, including Il Duomo di Siena and the Piazza del Campo, the site of Il Palio. You will have two hours to explore the city. Enter the Duomo, one of the greatest examples of Romanesque-Gothic architecture and would-be rival to Florence’s Duomo had its completion not been halted by the black death, and see Monte Paschi di Siena, one of the oldest banks in existence.
We will depart from Siena for a short drive to a local winery, Tenuta Torciano. After a short tour of the winery, we will have a wine tasting of local wines such as the Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Classico. Lunch will consist of typical tuscan appetizers and pasta. We will depart Siena for San Gimigano.
San Gimignano is a walled medieval town perched on a hill. Its well-preserved medieval towers can be seen from several kilometers away and have become iconic of the city. You will have two hours to explore the city. See the city’s fourteen towers, and the Collegiata and St Agostino churches with their works of art from famous renaissance artists such as Filippino Lippi.
We will depart San Gimignao for Pisa. Estimated travel time is 1.5 hours. Enjoy a scenic drive through classic Tuscan countryside and arrive in the city of Pisa. Here, you will have time to take a photo with the iconic Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery.
We will depart Pisa for Florence.
