Welcome to Europe’s best-kept secret! Tap into your inner adventurer as we head to Split, located on Croatia’s pristine Dalmatian Coast. Untouched sandy beaches, the magnificent wonder of the Krka Waterfalls and white water rafting on the emerald green Cetina River will make this your favorite coastal getaway. Relax on the beach, cruise the crystal blue Adriatic Sea, and explore the medieval port town of Split. Croatia may be Europe’s best-kept secret, but your Croatian adventure won't be.

The trip departs Prague from Hlavni Nadrazi. The meeting point is the Bus Departure point. Access this via Platform 1 outside the main entrance and the Fatnova Kavarna. Please meet your trip leader 20 minutes prior to departure. Travel to Croatia is by private luxury coach with A/C, DVD, and bathroom. Upon arrival to Split, we will check into our accommodation.
You have all day to explore Split and its surrounding areas. Bus2alps will organize a white-water rafting trip on the Cetina River. Rafting the Cetina is an adventurous and scenic experience on one of Croatia’s great natural landmarks. The rafting trip will depart shortly after we arrive. If you choose to not join the white-water rafting adventure, you can spend your day laying out on one of Split’s beaches, join a tour of the Split city center, visit the Diocletian Palace, rent a bike and ride up Marjan Hill, or take a day trip to local surrounding towns, like Omis, or the Krka Waterfalls. You can hop on the local bus to the town of Omiš. Located 25 kilometers from Split, Omiš is where the Cetina River meets the sea.
Friday night there will be an optional pub crawl to the best of Split’s bustling nightlife. Your tour guide will let you know when to meet for the pub crawl, if you are interested in joining the pub crawl. If you choose to not join the pub crawl, the night is free to explore Split’s many restaurants, cafes, and pubs.
You have all day to explore the second largest city in Croatia and largest on the Dalmatian Coast. For those interested, Bus2alps will organize a private island cruise tour that heads to the islands of Solta and Brač. Brač is known for its rolling hills, isolated bays, clear waters, and its views. Once on Brač you will have time to explore the medieval buildings, try out windsurfing in the harbor, marvel at the dazzling views, or check out the beaches. The most famous beach is the Golden Horn. The Golden Horn beach, also known in Croatian as Zlatni Rati, is famous for being triangle shaped with trees in the center. When you stand in the water, all you see is sea, beach, sky, and trees, giving the impression of being on a deserted island. If you stay in Split, you can spend your day laying out on one of Split’s beautiful beaches, join a tour of the Diocletian Palace, go to Marjan Hill, or take a day trip to local surrounding towns or Krka N.P.
Saturday night there will be an optional trip to the island town of Trogir, situated thirty minutes from Split. Here there are many great dinner options. Your trip leader can provide you with recommendations of where to eat. We will return to Split later that night. Afterwards, it is possible to check out one of Split’s many great nightlife options.
There will be an optional day trip to Bosnia that will depart first thing in the morning. Otherwise, the day is yours to do some last minute shopping in Split and relax on the beach.
Day 5 we will depart Split for Krka first thing in the morning. There you will have a few hours to swim and explore Mother Nature’s incredible waterfalls of this Croatian National Park. We will depart Krka for Prague in the afternoon. We will make one stop en route for dinner. We will arrive back in Prague late this evening.
Rafting the Cetina River: Experience an adventurous ride down Croatia’s natural beauty, the emerald green Cetina River. Duck through lush overgrown trees expanding over the river and find yourself in large scenic expanses as you rush down the Cetina. When we’re all finished and off the river, a traditional Croatian dinner will be included.
Private Island Tour: Spend your day cruising around the coastline, visiting the islands of Brač and Solta. Cruise includes a grilled seafood and chicken lunch, and unlimited wine and soft drinks.
Ferry to Brač: Take a day trip to one of the beautiful Dalmatian Islands. Brač is known for its Golden Horn Beach, one of the most photographed spots on the Dalmatian Coast. Depending on seasonal availability, the ferry goes to the town or Supetar or Bol. Golden Horn Beach is located a short distance from Bol. Transfer to the Golden Horn Beach via Supetar will cost an addition 4 Euro by bus, but allows you to see the interior of Brač.
Split Pub Crawl: Engulf yourself in a mix of Split’s top pubs, bars, and clubs, while getting to know other fellow travelers.
Walking tours: There are numerous walking tours throughout Split that you can organize through the hostel reception or your trip leader. These tours highlight different landmarks and vary in length. The most popular ones feature the Dicoletian Palace.
